GHUSL FOR COUPLES AFTER HAVING INTIMACY:- EVERY MUSLIM COUPLE MUST KNOW ABOUT JANABAH BATH

Don’t Skip this – MARRIED COUPLES:

Are you doing GHUSL 🚿 the right way? 🚿✨👇👇👇

Many couples unknowingly make mistakes in their Ghusl, which can leave them in a state of impurity. 😨

But don’t worry!

Here’s a step-by-step Sunnah guide to ensure your purification is complete and valid! 🤲

🌿 GHUSL AFTER INTIMACY – STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE 🌿

Make Niyyah (Intention) so as to become Paak

✅ Wash both hands, including wrists.

✅ Clean the private parts thoroughly.

✅ Remove any impurities (Najaasat) from the body.

✅ Perform Wudhu as you normally would.

✅ Rinse the mouth and nostrils THREE times.

✅ Pour water over your head three times.

✅ Pour water three times over the right shoulder, then the left.

✅ Ensure water reaches EVERY part of your body – no hair or skin should be left dry!

✅ Rub the body to ensure water reaches all areas.

✅ Remove rings, earrings, and wash the navel & behind the ears.

✅ If any area is missed after Ghusl, just wash the dry portion – no need to repeat the full Ghusl.

The three Faraa’ids (compulsory acts) of Ghusl are: –

  1. To rinse the mouth with water in such a manner that water reaches the entire mouth.
  2. To rinse the nostrils up to the ending of the fleshy part or soft bone of the nose.
  3. To completely wet the whole body from head to toe, whereby not a single hair remains dry.

💡 REMEMBER:

🔹It is recommended for the spouses to haste in having a ritual bath of purification (GHUSL) after sexual relations. They should endeavour to end their state of ritual impurity (JANABAH) as soon as possible, as it will release them from restrictions such as offering Salat and reciting the Qur’an.

🔹 Women with plaited hair don’t need to undo it but must wet the roots. If a single hair root / end is left DRY, Ghusl will NOT be VALID.

🔹 Men with long hair MUST ensure every strand is washed properly.

I have one important thing to explain and clarify here.

Women: If WOMEN have braids / plaits, she is excused from loosening her plaited hair but it is COMPULSORY for her to wet the base / root of each and every hair, If she fails to do so then the Ghusl will NOT be VALID.

If women experience difficulty or are unable to wet the very bottom of the braided/ plaited hair, then it is necessary for her to unplait her complete hair and wash the entire hair.

Men: He has to open up all his plaited/braided hair and ensure that not a single hair is left dry. If even a hair is left dry, the ghusl will be invalid.

JazakAllahu Khayr
